Inspired by a client's tile, the kitchen's design revolves around complementing its distinctive shape, colour, and texture rather than competing.
Despite the limited space, the layout is simple yet functional, emphasising ample storage. A generously laid-out scullery contributes to the kitchen's efficiency. For entertaining, two wall ovens and a spacious cooktop meet the requirements, offering additional storage. The island streamlines the cleanup process with a well-placed sink, adjacent rubbish bin, dishwasher, and cutlery drawers. It also serves as a social hub with seating for family breakfasts or relaxed gatherings. The cabinetry colour creates an attractive contrast, allowing the tile-backed splashback to shine. The budget-conscious approach strategically balances elements, such as paring back black cabinetry on the island while incorporating gold detailing for cohesion and subtle ties to the tiled splashback.
This thoughtfully designed kitchen maximises functionality and aesthetic appeal, considering the house's purpose for resale.
