Design

When you come to HK, you’re not just getting a product; you’re embarking on an experience. We’ll connect you with one of our talented designers, who armed with our specialised design software, will provide you with a custom detailed design and quote based on your specifications and preferences. Additionally, we’ll supply high-quality 3D renders to give you a glimpse of the colours and style of your future dream kitchen. Quoting typically takes 5-7 days. Count on our strong purchasing power to deliver a competitive quote, backed by our exceptional service.

Manufacturing

Once you’ve given the green light to your designs and finalised the appliance details, it’s full steam ahead! Our Scheduling Team will swiftly confirm your HK installation date to ensure everything flows smoothly. After an on-site measure by our Site Team, installation typically takes between 6-8 weeks, depending on materials and finishes. Any tweaks or special requests? We’ll maintain close communication, usually during the framing stage. Our in-house CAD team will then whip up production drawings, and we’ll place material orders. The best part – all our cabinetry is meticulously crafted in Tauranga in our 5,000sqm factory by our highly skilled joiners, with a rigorous quality check before dispatch to ensure your cabinetry arrives complete and on time.

Installation

At HK, we take your project’s success to heart. Our Scheduling Team is dedicated to ensuring your installation date aligns seamlessly with your build schedule – consider us an integral part of your process. One week before dispatch, our Scheduling Team will contact you to confirm that your site is ready for your scheduled installation date. You’ll also receive an email confirming any stone benchtop or splashback installation dates, keeping you fully informed.

Our delivery team and a qualified installer will arrive bright and early on the designated installation day, or sometimes even the day before, to provide a full day’s lead time. Typically, installation takes 1-2 days. After installation, our installer conducts a thorough quality check to ensure everything meets our high standards. As for engineered stone benchtops, they are templated the day after the installation and usually installed 10-12 days later.
